Bruce Sizemore, Jr. Background

Modern golf has evolved into a fascinating sport, where subtle nuances in materials and construction can dramatically fine-tune a player’s game. Scientific research has introduced exciting, cutting-edge technologies into the game. And when infused with the rich experience of a professional, these designs become a truly exceptional force.

Bruce Sizemore, Jr. – Chief Designer and Co-Founder of the SIZEMORE COLLECTION – discovered golf at the age of four. As a young man, he learned pro shop and course operations at his local club in Michigan before entering the Professional Golf Management Program at Ferris State University. By 1989, Bruce became a PGA Golf Professional, specializing in golf instruction. He worked for clubs in Indiana, New York and California, continuing his playing and teaching career in Florida in 1994. There, inspired by his passion for the game and his understanding of its difficulty, he embarked on a mission and started his custom-designed golf equipment business.

Years of teaching and playing exposed Bruce to the particular obstacles that golfers meet in their sport, many of which could be minimized by fine-tuning their equipment. This analysis led to a two-year project, involving research on putter head materials and the development of a specialized computer-driven milling process. In 1996, this new technology was brought to market with the founding of COPPER STIX putters by Bruce Sizemore, Jr., which produced some of the most effective putter designs in the industry.

Sizemore released a collection of six putter designs, which have been used by over 30 PGA Tour Players from 2000 to the present. While using a Sizemore designed putter, over $6 million has been won on tour, with no endorsement fees paid (including a First Place, four Second Place, several Top Ten, and numerous Top 20 finishes).

Two years of further research and development led to the launch of the ground-breaking SIZEMORE COLLECTION. The company’s first release will be a series of four truly exceptional putters that all feature the patented IND•X™ cross-milled face finish. The XM-1 and XM-2 models also incorporate AIM™ (Alignment Insert Management) technology - a sophisticated combination of patented alignment and weighting inserts that are fully customizable. AIM™ is an exciting industry first, that unveils a significant advancement in modern putter design.
